Privacy Policy
Last updated August 16, 2026
This policy describes how MBS Medicine ("we", "us") handles information collected through this website, mbsdoc.com. It applies to the website only. Your medical records and the health information you share during care are protected health information handled under HIPAA within our clinical systems, and are covered by the Notice of Privacy Practices you receive when you become a patient, not by this website policy.
Who we are
MBS Medicine is a veteran-owned medical practice providing telehealth services to patients located in Florida, with an office at 904 25th Dr East, Ellenton, FL 34222. You can reach us at 941-418-3294 or 941-418-3068, by email at alex.anderson@mbsdoc.com, or through the form on our contact page.
Information we collect on this website
- Contact form submissions. Name, contact details, and the message you choose to send.
- Chat messages. Questions you type into the site's chat assistant.
- Technical data. Standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) collected by our hosting provider to operate and secure the site.
Please do not include detailed medical information in the contact form or the chat. Those channels are for general questions. Clinical conversations belong in a visit or in the secure patient portal.
How we use information
We use website information to respond to your questions, help you schedule care, and operate and protect the site. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Service providers
- Practice Better operates our secure patient portal, scheduling, and clinical records.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and provides security services.
- Anthropic processes chat assistant messages so the assistant can respond. Chat messages are not used to build advertising profiles.
- Fullscript operates the supplement store linked from this site under its own privacy policy.
Retention and security
We keep website inquiries only as long as needed to respond and maintain our records, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect them. No website can guarantee perfect security, which is another reason to keep detailed health information in the patient portal rather than in website forms.
Your choices
You may contact us at the phone numbers above to ask what website information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. Florida patients also have rights in their medical records under state and federal law, which are described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Children
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
